From September 9 till 18, 2015 the shooting complex Trap Concaverde will be the official venue of the World Shotgun Championship, main event of the 2015 sports season gathering in Italy all the world's top shooters.
In addition to the competitions, awarding 10 passes for the Olympic Games Rio 2016, whose finals will have live TV coverage on RAI Sport channel, many more side events shall make this 2015 worlds unforgettable.
The competition shall officially begin with the Opening Ceremony, scheduled on Thursday, september 10, at 5:00 PM, in the presence of Mr. Olegario Vazquez Raña, President of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF), Luciano Rossi, President of the Italian Shooting Sport Federation. As the official part of the ceremony will be over, two additional shows shall entertain the public: an Air Show with performed by historical aircrafts, flying over the arena drawing the "tricolor" Italian flag in the air, and a breathtaking acrobatic show performed by a group of talented contortionist artists. After the show, a welcome buffet with live music shall be offered to the participants.

The village shall also host the Exhibition-Museum of the Olympic Torches, showing the torches used in the 30 editions of the Modern Summer Olympic Games and in the 6 editions of the Winter Olympic Games, courtesy of CONI, owner the exclusive collection.
As a special celebration for this important event, Fitav, in partnership with Poste Italiane, produced a unique release of postmarks with two dedicated stamp special cancellations, on September 10 in the occasion of the opening ceremony, and on september 11 in the occasion of the first competition day.
Friday, september 11 is the first competition day, starting with day one for Men Trap and full competition for Trap Ladies and, at the same time, the world village shall host 4 Conferences focusing respectively on the topics of Nutrition, Environmental Protection, Safety issues related to firearms carriage, and Fight against Doping, introduced by the world's most qualified experts. Saturday, september 12 shall end up with the trap Menfinals.
On Sunday, September 13 the programme shall continue with the Skeet Ladies competition and from 5.30 PM onward, the shooters and the public are all invited to watch the show of Dynamic shooting performed by Raniero Testa, World Champion and record holder.
Monday, September 14 is the competition day for Double Trap.
The programme will continue - after a day dedicated to official training - on Wednesday September 16, with the last part of the world championship, namely with the day one of the skeet Men event, ending up on Wednesday 17, featuring competition day two and finals.
As the medal presentations will be completed for Skeet Men, around 6.00 PM of September 17, it will be time for the Closing Ceremony featuring another Air Show performed by the acrobatic air crew WE FLY TEAM, composed by disabled pilots
